Ahh man, that brings memories back... the Chozo Ghosts really were difficult to deal with. The X-Ray Visor put us on more or less even ground with them. Really a great picture, but in my opinion the Chozo Ghosts could've been more ethereal. With these words I really do not say that I don't like them. You've done a great job on them. But the contours are a bit too sharp for ghosts. But that's just my opinion
Anyways: A very very nice artwork with nice perspective. I like it
Thanks! There's no problem at all! Your coment is very welcoming. I also think the same now. That was what I could come up with at the time. But I think that I achieved that ghostlike ethereal vibe on this one [link] I mean that I did get a lot closer to that feel, I think but only thanks to the guidance of Infinity's End from Metroid Database.
Anyway, I'm really glad that you could still enjoy this rendition despite that fact. Once again. Thanks!
Sorry for the late reply. You're welcome. I've looked at some screenshots of the Chozo Ghosts ([link]). I think it's difficult to draw or illustrate them like in the game (if not nearly impossible). There they are like energy in the shape of Chozos. That's quite a challenge. But nevertheless you did a good job, 'nough said : Nice job on your single Chozo Ghost. There you achieved the ethereal vibe, yup
Now I'm the one apologizing for the late reply. ^_^' Anyway, you nailed it right on the head. In the game they are nothing more than white light with a shape. That's why I used the game's artworks for reference but still with my comic style of dark lines and shadows it was a challenge indeed to get the ethereal vibe. Once again thank you very much for the well thought comment!
And now I am the one apologizing for the late reply ... again Yeah, and trying to illustrate white light with a shape digitally isn't an easy job, I think. So you did well to use the artworks to make your artwork. That way we can see the details instead of just white light. Thank you for labeling my comment as "well thought"
Thanks!
