Merry Christmas and a Mega New Year!

Hello guys!
So here we are for another Christmas!
This year,I think was one of the busiest on my gallery with my contributions to the Harmony of Heroes and of course the
!
In the way I was able to also work on the cover for another album of Shiryu Music!
But what about now Joe? You ask--Well, now I'm working on a couple projects that are keeping me busy. I think that one of these will get you excited ,since involves a certain skull kid with a scary mask! EH!EH!
In between I'm working on a sketchbook regularly, studying anatomy and buildings in order to improve my penciling!
As usual there's always a little time to play games. Shovel Knight, Bayonetta 2 and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U with some Mario Kart 8 along the way will be keeping me tight during my Holidays!
And that's all guys!

Halloween is coming

Hey everyone!
It has been a while hasn't it?
Anyway I'm here to let you know that the Harmony of Heroes album is already available
and after an amazing reception that even brought the servers down,their back on running. I'm stocked with what I heard up until now, because there's a whooping 101 songs to listen!
Yup! That's right! 101 tracks in total! I'm already in love with some songs from DK, Starfox and Metroid but I can't wait to hear the rest!
So go over there www.harmonyofheroes.com/ and download the music of each franchise separately or go for broke and get it all in one!
Also Halloween is coming! And is celebrating it with a contest. If you feel that you've got what it takes go over there and check some of those gruesome, ghostly terror filling artworks!
Now It's time for me to say goodbye once more.
Going back to Super Smash Bros 3DS and hopefully grabing Bayonetta 2 next week! Lots to play,to draw and so little time...

Harmony of Heroes

Hello everybody!
It's been a while since I wrote a new journal, but you know I've been busy. A lot!
Last week I don't know if you noticed but I upload a DK piece wich I've been working secretly.
And today I upload another one. Namely a Super Mario World one!
The secret behind all this is the Harmony of Heroes project.
A fan-arrangement album celebrating the music and franchises from Super Smash Bros coming Fall 2014!
Me and a group of very talented visual artists were given the chance to depict the characters present in Super Smash Bros. roster from the very first one on N64 to Brawl on Wii, in order to compliment the amazing music on the album.

Also on another note I'm happy to start seeing some of my fanart appearing all over the internet, wich I give a heartwarming thank you very much to the people who upload them with my link right beside the rendition.
You don't imagine how happy I was when someone from the Official Nintendo Magazine contacted me, asking permission to use my Blizzeta piece on one of their issues! And here it is! TA-DA! Now I'm searching for this issue like crazy here in Portugal!
And how about my Johnny Cage featuring on Mortal Kombat Online?

But what I love the most is when some of you say how one of my pieces makes you remember when you played a certain part in a game where you were having fun and to me that's really important to bring back the old memories of joy into your lives again!

A new start!

Hello guys!
Last year was busy but this one is looking to pack quite the punch. While steady on my every day job I'll be finally moving with my girlfriend to our new house--a start of a new life, I guess. Nonetheless I'll still try to upload more artworks and above all try to reply to your lovely comments! Which I'm much appreciated for. It's always nice to hear your thoughts about the renditions I make.So keep them coming!
Now I just have to talk about this. Last year I played some great games on PS3 such as Asura's Wrath, Metal Gear Rising or the damn fun Lollipop Chainsaw but I gotta say that Tomb Raider just made me drop my jaw in astonishment! What an experience it was! The story is so captivating and enticing that I just couldn't let go the controller, such like a tv series I wanted to keep pushing forward in order to watch what was happening next! And Lara really connected with me as a real human being struggling for survivence (despite enduring all that pain in a godly manner)! So there you go! I just can't recomend enough to all of you out there that like me haven't played TR already!
Other one that kept me glued to my Wii U was Super Mario 3D World--Yeah! I was one of those which weren't very impressed with the E3 showing but man!? Did this game made me eat my words! Great fun above all else with lots of colour, crazy original platforms and wonderful music! Oh! And Legend of Zelda A Link between Worlds is definitely top notch. The sense of freedom that this game emanates is so refreshing that I went through it like a little kid in a candy store!
And finally, Batman Arkham Origins on the Wii U brought me back to the movie Batman Returns with it's tematic and the part where the dark knight faces Deathstroke was so exciting!!
Damn! And in the middle of all this I was always thinking "I gotta draw this and that sequence!!" So much stuff that I ended up drawing nothing! :\ Yup! that's me! LOOOOL
Well this is turning into a real long journal, so I hope you keep coming to my gallery and enjoying my pieces !

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Hope you all have a great time with your loved ones!
After a contribuition of 8 pages for another Portuguese fanzine-"ezine" I've been slowly working at night on my next piece
but not tonight or tomorrow.
I'm taking this couple days out from work and drawing to enjoy the company of my family. And also play some Super mario 3D World with my girlfriend and niece!
So let the festivities begin!
